Display website in Google Search is very easy, you can do yourself too, without getting help of any web developer. If your website or web page is not appeared in google search engine or any other search engine like Yahoo, Bing, AOL, Ask or any other. I think you website will not be beneficial as you want for you. So that you should try to display your website not only in Google search engine but also in Yahoo, Bing, AOL, Ask and any other. In this post I will show you how could do achieve this task. Let’s begin.
Create Gmail Account:
To display website in Google search engine you must create your Gmail account, without Gmail you can’t get this task.
Sign in your newly created Gmail account or any existing Gmail account.
After signing in Gmail account type keywords “webmaster tools” into Google search and press enter button from keyboard.
Now click the link having title “Google Webmasters – Resources to Track Website and Search”. If upcoming screen will ask you to sign in webmaster console just click sign in it will be automatically signed in. Add your domain name into add property field.
Add Sitemap to Google Search Console:
After adding property into Google search console, it’s time to submit sitemap of your website into google search console. Generate your sitemap online with xml-sitemaps.com website and download it. by doing this you will get sitemap.xml file.
Add XML sitemap file in Google Search Console:
Now have generated your sitemap and you have sitemap in XML file, now add you sitemap.xml file in google search console as shown in image below:
Yoast Plugin of WordPress:
If you have your website in WordPress, you can create your sitemap automatically with the help of Yoast plugin. Just you have to install Yoast plugin and connect Yoast with Google search console, not only your sitemap will be created automatically it will be updated too
Submit Website in other search Engines:
Now you have basic understanding of Google search console and sitemaps. The process of submitting sitemap in other search engines such as Yahoo, Bing, AOL, Ask is almost same. I think if you could submit sitemap in google, you will be able to submit sitemap in other search engines too.
